Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University

Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University is a higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation. Founded at the end of the 19th century, the university has a tradition of scientific and educational activity, fundamental science schools, as well as modern laboratory complexes, programs of dual education and academic mobility. Today, about 5,000 students study at the university, including those from other countries. Within the framework of KSAEU, applicants are trained at the educational levels of junior bachelor, bachelor, master in more than 30 specialties. The university also trains scientific and pedagogical personnel through graduate and doctoral programs. The University creates conditions for quality training of future students through the operation of the Center for Pre-University Training and International Education. The activities of the Center are aimed at finding the most prepared and motivated graduates for admission to the university, as well as supporting the studies of foreign students. To implement the concept of lifelong learning through the activities of the Educational and Scientific Center "Institute of Postgraduate Education and Counseling". The Institute of Postgraduate Education and Counseling of the KSAEU implements all types of postgraduate education in areas and specialties accredited by the KSAEU . One of the important areas of activity is the training and certification of agricultural production advisors, and through them, the introduction of scientific developments of KSAEU into the practice of agricultural production. University employees have received 300 patents, more than 200 copyright certificates for inventions. Today, more than 20 developments aimed at the modernization and improvement of the efficiency of agricultural activities, the use and protection of aquatic biological resources, and the economic foundations of agricultural business are being implemented. Academic mobility programs aimed at the development of international cooperation, coordination and counseling of scientific and pedagogical workers and students of higher education on mobility issues are being implemented at KSAEU. In particular, teachers and awardees underwent internships in Germany, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, USA, China, Georgia. To realize the purpose and goals of the university, an extensive material and technical base has been created. This ensures a high level of educational, research and scientific activity, and is also aimed at ensuring the active development of students in the social and cultural sphere, physical development, and support for the psychological health of participants in the educational process. Due to the war in Ukraine, Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University was unable to continue its academic and research activities in Kherson. Following an order from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the university has relocated to Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovograd Oblast) and is now located at Universytetskyi Prospekt, 5/2.
