JSS University, Noida

JSS University, Noida is a multidisciplinary university in Uttar Pradesh, India, carrying forward the educational, research and social-development legacy of JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP). The University brings together the longstanding JSS tradition with contemporary approaches to higher education, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and global engagement.

The legacy of JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP) is rooted in the service tradition of Sri Suttur Math, Mysuru,India with its educational movement tracing back to 1928 and its formal establishment in 1954 under His Holiness Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji. Over the decades, it has grown into a broad network spanning education, healthcare, research, technology, skill development and community service across India and internationally. 

JSS University, Noida builds on the academic foundation of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida (JSSATEN), established in 1998 under the flagship of JSS Mahavidyapeetha. Following its merger with the parent institution, this established academic foundation became part of the broader multidisciplinary framework of JSS University, Noida in 2024.

JSS Science & Technology Entrepreneurs Park (JSS STEP) is an innovation, incubation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of JSS University, Noida, connecting academia, industry, government, innovators, startups, investors and students through incubation, mentoring, prototype development, technology validation, funding and market-oriented support. Its focus areas include AI, Data and DeepTech, HealthTech, Biotech, MedTech, Manufacturing, AgriTech, sustainability and social innovation. JSS STEP has incubated nearly 300 startups, including 200+ graduated ventures and 100+ current startups, while supporting intellectual property development, employment, technology development and commercialisation.
