Admission of foreign citizens to METU on a fee-paying basis is carried out based on the results of an interview conducted by the METU Admission Committee throughout the calendar year. Enrollment of foreign citizens is carried out in accordance with the academic calendar, no later than 5 (five) days before the start of the next academic period (admission before the start of the 2nd semester is allowed).
Documents in a foreign language must be submitted with a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian.
Educational documents issued by foreign educational institutions are subject to the recognition procedure in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan after the applicant’s enrollment, within the first academic period of study.
