Comprising of the Lucerne Schools of Engineering and Architecture, Business, Social Work, Art and Design, Music, and (from 2016) Information Technology, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is the largest educational institution in Central Switzerland. The Intercantonal Council is made up of representatives of the six Central Swiss cantons. The executive management of the University is composed of the President and the Executive Board. The strategic management of the University is led by the Governing Council. The Intercantonal Council is the highest governing and supervisory body, while the Interparliamentary Control Committee monitors the implementation of the Intercantonal Agreement.
