Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics & Finance - UEF

Established on 24 September 2007 by Decision No. 1272/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) aims to become Vietnam’s leading university and achieve international academic standards, based on philosophy: Quality – Efficiency – Integration. 

UEF’s consistently aims at achieving high standards in higher education by adapting the world’s best expertise to the local context of change and economic integration, focusing on providing undergraduate degree programs and post-graduate degree programs in order to meet the country’s increasing needs for high quality human resources.

UEF has two campuses, located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The 141 Dien Bien Phu campus is the main campus which occupies a spacious area of nearly 24,000 square meters and houses a modern and classy 23-story building with a 3-level basement. The other campus at 276 Dien Bien Phu is a 16-story building covering a massive area of 10,000 square meters, with 2-level underground parking and superior facilities. 

We offer 29 undergraduate academic programs, under which students can also choose to study interdisciplinary, second degree or double major programs. At the postgraduate level, the graduate program offers 05 master’s programs and 01 doctoral program across five fields of study. 

UEF promotes bilingual academic programs with English-based subjects accounting for over 50% of the entire courses.

Active teaching methods inspire students to study through interaction, teamwork, discussions, presentations, projects. Work-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Community-Engaged Learning (Service Learning) are strongly focused by the University. Class size does not exceed 35 students, each individual has the best conditions to develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
