Laboratory experiments and the use of computer aided engineering tools will be integrated into the program. Students will also study engineering design theories and will acquire numerous engineering design experiences.
Opportunities
The mechanical engineering curriculum will culminate with a capstone design project experience. The capstone design project experience will require students to draw from their previously acquired knowledge in mathematics and the engineering sciences to solve engineering design problems supplied by external customers. Students that complete EMU’s Mechanical Engineering program will be prepared to help solve tomorrow’s engineering problems.
