City University of Seattle (CityU) is a not-for-profit university accredited by the Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities. CityU's mission is to change lives by offering high quality, relevant lifelong education to anyone with the desire to learn. The university specializes in undergraduate and graduate programs designed for the needs of the US and international community: about 80% of the teaching faculty have worked for or currently consult for leading global corporations and companies. One of CityU’s core missions is to provide global access to high quality educational programs, so the university's programs are reasonably priced and no standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT) are required for admission. International students must meet English language proficiency requirements, but for many academic programs the university offers conditional admittance and the opportunity to improve English language skills within its own ESL program.
