American University of Cyprus (AUC) is a contemporary higher education institution located in Nicosia, the capital of the  Cyprus, with a strong commitment to educational quality, academic development, and social contribution.

The University was accredited by the Council for Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination (YÖDAK) and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey (YÖK) during the 2014–2015 Academic Year, and commenced its educational activities in the 2015–2016 Academic Year.

Since its establishment, American University of Cyprus has continued to develop and grow. With an increasing student population, a qualified and experienced academic staff, and a strong administrative structure, the University aims not only to provide students with comprehensive academic knowledge but also to educate individuals who are capable of researching, questioning, creating, and contributing to society.

Today, American University of Cyprus comprises 7 Faculties, 2 Vocational Schools, 1 Graduate School, and 1 Preparatory School. The University offers education across various disciplines through 5 master's degree programs, 1 doctoral program, 19 undergraduate programs, and 31 associate degree programs.

With its developing academic structure, modernized physical facilities, and expanding educational opportunities, AUC continues to pursue its commitment to quality-oriented higher education.
