  • Complete the admissions exam 
  • You may be required to attend an interview 

 

Admissions requirements 

Undergraduate  

  • Minimum GPA requirements vary depending on the programme and previous education system  
  • High school diploma/international baccalaureate 
  • Mathematics required for some courses (e.g. Engineering, Computer science) 
  • Admissions exam waiver may be possible, depending on SAT scores 
  • Check your course page for the most relevant details 


Postgraduate 

  • Minimum academic qualifications vary by programme, so always check your course page for details 
  • Some courses require a minimum amount of work experience (e.g. EMBA – three years’ work experience) 
  • Admissions exam waiver may be possible, depending on previous exam results or GPA 

International 

  • In addition to the requirements above, international students will need to provide: 
  • Certified scanned copies of all academic records (English translation required for non-English documents 
  • TOEFL/IELTS/GRE/GMAT/SAT scores (minimums: TOEFL & GMAT/GRE - 550, sat - 1650) unless from a country where English is the official language 
  • Two letters of recommendation 
  • Proof of sufficient financial resources

Accommodation 

Although AIUB doesn’t currently have on-campus halls of residence, there are convenient accommodation options through the university’s partnerships with local providers. Separate dormitories for male and female students are available near campus, providing a comfortable and secure living environment.

Scholarships

For students from Bangladesh, merit-based scholarships, sports scholarships, and scholarships for students with disabilities or from underrepresented groups are available.

You can apply online through the AIUB website.   The application process involves filling out an application form, submitting required documents, and paying an application fee. Application deadlines typically fall two months before the start of each semester. However, it’s essential to check the AIUB website for specific dates as they may vary.  

 

Full information for future students can be found on the website. 

Scholarships are available to students from Bangladesh. Unfortunately, AIUB does not offer scholarships to international students at this time.  

 

In addition to the general application process, international students need to provide certified copies of academic records (translated into English if necessary), language proficiency scores, letters of recommendation, proof of financial resources, and medical records.
