Students automatically become members of the Business Students' Society when they begin their degree. The society organises many social events throughout the year, such as pub nights, outings and an annual ball, to which all students are welcome. To help develop these skills, Business, in conjunction with the Careers Service, hosts many careers events during the year including interactive sessions with industry professionals, giving an insight into careers in business, finance and accounting, as well as presentations and workshops by some of the top graduate employers such as PricewaterhouseCoopers. Business graduates also give presentations during which students gain practical information about particular jobs and valuable knowledge about various career paths.
