At Aalborg University, you can study a 3-year bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, followed by a  2-year master's degree in civil engineering .
As a building engineer, you are a driving force in a construction project, and you are involved from the very beginning, where it is just a general idea, until the final construction is completed and ready for use. It is a long process: First the need for a building / plant must be investigated, and then the sketches must be translated into drawings of concrete constructions. The construction must be able to function both in itself and in the context in which it is constructed, so there are many different factors to consider. For example, it must be investigated how the construction will affect the local environment both during and after the construction phase. After this, the construction itself can start with everything it requires of management and coordination.  By choosing the bachelor's program in Construction, you can help to realize the buildings, bridges, roads and other infrastructural facilities of the future. It is necessary that you want to use mathematics as an active tool, just as you will quickly learn that computer technology is indispensable for calculations, drawings and communication in your everyday life.
