Welcome to Surrey Business School, where offer business education and services that we believe are different from the normal academic offerings. As well as cutting-edge research of world-leading quality, we focus on practice; how business is done. We do this by bringing businesses into our school – not just as guest speakers, but as active co-creators of knowledge. Through this, our students get hands-on experience of real business problems, while businesses get access to the ideas and ideals of future business leaders. We encourage our students to have an entrepreneurial spirit, challenging them to move outside their comfort zones, to 'learn by doing' and put their knowledge to work, and to capitalise on our close relationship with the University’s Research Park and Incubation Service. For our business collaborators – both large and small – we provide access to leading thinkers and practitioners, who offer insights into the latest areas of business development. We also offer tailored training and executive development programmes, consultancy services and the opportunity to participate in research initiatives. Our relationship with the Surrey 100 Club of angel investors lends another dimension to our work with entrepreneurs and start-ups.
