Economics BSc, you will be introduced to key mathematical and statistical
techniques used in economic analysis. You’ll also develop a variety
of IT skills, which will be of use both within and beyond your degree.
On this
degree you will:

the door to a variety of roles and a versatile career in both the public and private sectors including the
civil service, accountancy, financial consultancy and actuarial or data
analysis
gain
commercial awareness and develop a business mindset with an optional work placement after your
second year or broaden your global outlook with an optional study abroad year
engage
in group work with our Applied Economics module which develops key skills, such as
the ability to present and defend arguments on topical economic issues
choose
from a wide range of optional modules , including a dissertation, and focus on the topics of most interest to you

from our status as a Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner and through self-study, complete the
Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate giving you an interactive introduction to
