How did you first become interested in studying a culinary arts degree?

Ayham Al Hendawi: My love for cooking comes from my mum. Since I was a kid, she always believed I'd be a great chef and encouraged me to pursue it. Her guidance sparked my passion for cooking and gave me the drive to chase my dream. 

What are your long-term career goals and how will this degree enable you to achieve them?

Sara Abu Saleh: My dream of owning a chocolate shop is rooted in my diverse education, blending culinary arts and business administration. This unique blend allows me to excel both in crafting top-notch chocolates and running a successful business.  

With this combination of skills, I'm poised to achieve my entrepreneurial goals. When I graduate, I'll be ready not just to create delicious chocolates but also to manage all aspects of my shop effectively. This fusion of culinary and business knowledge forms the solid base of my entrepreneurial journey, ensuring the success of my chocolate shop. 

What does a typical semester/term look like on your degree?  

Adam Hadidi: In culinary school, learning is dynamic and exciting, with practical lectures that keep students engaged. The university not only teaches theory but also helps students develop a wide range of culinary skills. It's a supportive environment where creativity and proficiency are encouraged and nurtured. 

Moreover, the university offers opportunities for students to participate in local and global conferences and events. This exposure introduces students to industry trends, new techniques, and networking opportunities with professionals from around the world.  

In essence, the academic experience goes beyond just teaching knowledge—it enriches culinary education by actively involving students in conferences and events.
