The goal of the master's degree educational program in specialty M144 “Medicine” is the in-depth training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel with analytical skills in the chosen field of medicine to effectively resolve issues of scientific and managerial activity. Master's studies prepare the foundation for those students who plan to study for a doctorate, continue research and become part of the scientific community. The objectives of the educational program “Masters of Medical Sciences” in the specialty M144 “Medicine” are:
achieving high quality education by deepening theoretical and practical individual training in the chosen field of medicine and teaching activities;
Master’s students master the most important and sustainable knowledge that ensures a holistic perception of the scientific direction of medicine;
choice by undergraduates of an individual educational trajectory in a medical specialty;
developing in the student the ability to improve and self-development, the need and skills for independent creative mastery of new knowledge throughout their entire life;
training of specialists with a high level of professional culture, including a culture of professional communication, who have a civic position, are able to formulate and solve modern scientific and practical problems, and teach at universities;
successfully carry out research and management activities;
providing undergraduates with fundamental knowledge at the intersection of sciences, guaranteeing them professional mobility in the real developing world;
acquiring skills in organizing and conducting scientific research, obtaining the necessary groundwork for continuing scientific work in doctoral studies;
obtaining the necessary minimum knowledge in the field of university pedagogy and psychology, and teaching experience at a university.

The master's program accepts persons who have completed educational programs of higher education. Admission of persons to the University's master's program is carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of Comprehensive testing. Admission to the master's program is carried out based on the results of comprehensive testing in the scientific and pedagogical master's program with Kazakh or Russian as the language of instruction, who have scored the following points: Foreign language test
at least 25 points, Test to determine readiness for learning
at least 7 points, Group profile test educational programs
at least 14 points (with the choice of one correct answer
at least 7, with the choice of one or more correct answers
at least 7, in accordance with the 150-point grading system for comprehensive testing for master's programs with Kazakh or Russian language of instruction.
Enrollment of persons into specialized master's programs on a paid basis is carried out based on the results of comprehensive testing in accordance with the 100-point grading system for comprehensive testing in specialized master's programs with Kazakh or Russian language of instruction:
at least 50 points, while according to the profile of a group of educational programs: with choice one correct answer
at least 7 points, with a choice of one or more correct answers
at least 7 points, for a test to determine readiness for learning
at least 7 points.
Persons who obtain the highest scores in comprehensive testing and (or) entrance examination are enrolled in training under the state educational order on a competitive basis and on a paid basis:
1) for scientific and pedagogical master’s programs - at least 75 points;
2) for master’s programs with English as the language of instruction - at least 50 points;
3) for specialized master’s programs – at least 50 points
