The American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland (AUS) is committed to offer a distinctive specialization in Aviation Management as part of its MIBA program to prepare future managers for the aviation industry, as an official IATA authorized training center.
The program is based on the AUS MIBA curriculum combined with several courses in Aviation and Airport Management along with Safety, Security, and Legal issues. The curriculum links cutting-edge business theory to practical research and applications as students are guided to solve real-world challenges in the aviation industry.Students can earn at least three (3) IATA certificates by completing IATA courses based on their interest and from a list of courses provided by the Academic department. Our Aviation Management professors come from the aviation industry and directly from IATA. Through their decades of direct aviation experience, they bring personal stories, connections, and networks to a classroom, enriching the student experience.
In addition to the classroom setting, the program offers tours of aviation management points of interest, including airports, hangers, cargo centers, IATA headquarters, air traffic control centers, and many others. AUS has a specific track for guest speakers, bringing industry leaders to campus to provide first-person experiences and insights.
