Electrical engineering is involved in every aspect of our life and hence it is the largest engineering profession. From power generation and transmission to computers and telecommunications and from Microsystems and robotics to biomedical instruments/machines and navigation systems, electrical engineers play an essential role by providing innovative solutions. With the expansion of industries and commercial services, new technologies such as smart power networks, novel telecommunication and control systems need to be developed in order to provide sustainable solutions with reduced environmental impact. Such developments would require an increasing number of highly-skilled electrical engineers to meet the emerging challenges. The EE program in PMU focuses on the following tracks: Electrical Power Systems and Communication Systems.
