Every year, Western Caspian University provides around 3,000 students both full and part-time programs.
The university boasts eight faculties (schools), 11 departments and 22 chairs. Western Caspian University offers 30 bachelor’s programs and 16 master’s programs, teaching across a varied number of academic subjects, from the like of Information Technologies to Political and Social Sciences, from Business Administration to Ecology.
The admission and entry requirements for both bachelor’s and master’s programs are the same.
National students will apply to their chosen educational program according to the results of their admissions exam which is taken by the State Examination Center.
However, for international students, it is based on application.
Required documents for international students include:
• Application form
• A copy of international passport
• Two photos on red background
• Motivation letter up to 500 words
• A copy of diplomas and transcripts from previously attended educational programs in apostilled and notarized with English translation
• Medical examination report and a copy of the IELTS (7.0) or equivalent of TOEFL IBT certificate.
Once the application is successfully completed, admission is processed by the Selection Committee. Average tuition fees for international students at undergraduate level and postgraduate level range from 1800 – 3100 AZN for local students and 2000 USD for international students. Western University gives students opportunity to pay tuition fee in installments.
