The Direct Dual BA between UC Berkeley and Sciences Po offers highly qualified students who have already enrolled at one of the Sciences Po campuses an opportunity to continue their education at UC Berkeley. Upon the successful completion of their studies at Berkeley, Dual BA Direct Program students will earn twp bachelor's degrees, one from each institution.
Sciences Po Academics
Roughly one-third of each campus's student body comes from the region of focus, with international and French students comprising the other tw- thirds. The regional campuses are small and intimate, ensuring favorable class sizes and a strong sense of campus community. Regardless of campus, all students will enroll in:
core courses in the social sciences: Political Science, Economics, History, Sociology, and Law
electives in the humanities: choosing among Philosophy, Art History, Literary Studies
language courses that correspond to the campus's linguistic and cultural orientation
core math and statistics.
UC Berkeley Academics
Dual Degree students will have satisfied the majority of UC Berkeley's University and College requirements while at Sciences Po. Once at Berkeley, students will need to complete the American Cultures requirement, a course in either Physical or Biological Science Breadth, and the remaining major requirements. The following majors at UC Berkeley are the most common and most easily connected to a students' Sciences Po curriculum:

The Sciences Po Undergraduate College offers a three-year Bachelor’s degree programme that includes a year abroad at one of 470 partner universities.
Our students receive a multidisciplinary and broad-based education in the humanities and social sciences and an emphasis on civic, linguistic, and artistic education, in which professional training and extra-curricular activities are strongly emphasised along with academic courses.
Fundamental education is offered across five principal disciplines: Economics, Law, History, Sociology, Political Science.
The Paris campus is home to undergraduate students who follow the general programme. The other campuses offer students the opportunity to study the challenges particular to a geographical region:
●Asia at the Le Havre campus
●North America and Africa on the Nancy campus
●Europe and Franco-German relations on the Reims campus
●Central and Eastern Europe on the Dijon campus
●Latin America, Spain, and Portugal on the Poitiers campus
●The Middle-East and Mediterranean on the Menton campus
Sciences Po offers 13 dual Bachelor degree programmes with leading universities around the world, including 9 international dual degrees (Columbia University, University of California in Berkeley, Freie Universität Berlin, University of Hong Kong, Keio University, National University of Singapore University of British Columbia, University College London, University of Sydney) and 6 French dual degrees.
28 two-year Master’s degree programmes, and 5 one-year Master's programmes are offered, all on the Paris campus, each with a wide choice of concentration.
