The mandate of the Graduate School is to assist departments in recruiting and supporting outstanding students who will be capable of continual inquiry into fundamental questions in their fields and who can communicate clearly their findings through research, scholarship, teaching and service.The Graduate School coordinates University-wide efforts in graduate education and is responsible for policies and standards governing graduate education. Clemson University's Graduate School administers all graduate programs of the University. Clemson University offers 37 doctoral, 65 master's and one educational specialist degree(s) across 66 fields of study. The Graduate School oversees University fellowships and assistantships for graduate students.
