Students will collaborate closely with DBBB faculty and biomedical scientists; they will be encouraged to apply and implement the methodologies and knowledge immediately in their work environment. All students are required to complete a total of 32 course credits. Full-time students can complete the program in three semesters (1.5 years) and are encouraged to complete a summer internship. The prerequisites required for the master’s program are Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, and a college-level statistics course. Alternative combinations of coursework and/or experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Career Possibilities Upon completion of the MS in Biostatistics program, the majority of our students have found full-time positions at private, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies and contractors. Others have gone on to PhD programs.
