Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) is a private institution based in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1995 by former vice president of Peru Raúl Diez Canseco Terry for the purpose of shaping entrepreneurial, ethical, socially responsible leaders committed to the sustainable development of their countries with a global perspective.
Committed to producing highly qualified professionals in different areas of knowledge, USIL offers 41 undergraduate majors through 8 colleges: Hospitality Management, Tourism Administration and Gastronomy; Architecture; Health Sciences; Business; Law; Education; Humanities; and Engineering.
It also offers graduate and exchange programs, in partnership with over 230 institutions throughout the world.
Its modern facilities are distributed over five campuses in Lima, where a total of over 80,000 square meters of building space houses classrooms, conference rooms, libraries, study rooms, laboratories, movie theaters, a TV studio set, computer rooms, sports courts, parking space, a library, a chapel, a gym and more.
USIL belongs to an education organization with operations in the United States, Paraguay and China. It is listed among the top 10 universities in Peru by América Economía magazine (2016) and among the top 20 by QS Latin American University Rankings (Peru).
