Theatre Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki

University of the Arts Helsinki (Uniarts Helsinki) was founded in 2013, bringing together three prestigious Finnish art schools; Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy, and Theatre Academy.

Uniarts Helsinki’s Theatre Academy offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes in performing arts. Its graduates pursue careers as lighting and sound designers, dancers, choreographers, dance and theatre pedagogues, actors, directors, dramaturges and performance artists.

Uniarts Helsinki’s mission is to provide high-quality education that takes student’s individual needs into consideration, encouraging them to hone their craft, think independently and push boundaries. Uniarts Helsinki fosters Finnish artistic heritage and aims to renew art.
