VolSU’s infrastructure consists of 11 institutions,1 branch in Volzhsky City, research library, VolunteerCenter. The University implements more than 100 majors of various levels;Ph.D. programs cover 17 directions and 44 profiles; there are 6dissertation councils.
Theinnovative infrastructure of VolSU includes 21 scientific and educationalcenters, 11 centers of collective use, 6 small innovative enterprises, 77research and educational laboratories and student business incubator, student engineeringbureau, student innovation agency.
VolSU has awide geography of cooperation withforeign universities and organizations. VolSU provides a preparatory course "Russian as a ForeignLanguage" to non-Russian natives preparing them to enter majors. Our SummerSchool of Russian Language and Culture also enjoys popularity among foreigners.
