Universidad Privada del Norte (UPN) is an institution founded in the city of Trujillo (Peru); created by law on November 5, 1993. It currently has eight campuses, five of them in Lima (Los Olivos, Comas, Breña, Chorrillos, and San Juan de Lurigancho), one in Cajamarca, and two in Trujillo.

UPN is part of Laureate International Universities, a network of higher education institutions with an important presence in Latin America, recognized globally as an expert in educational management.

UPN has been awarded 4 stars in the QS Stars University Ratings, achieving 4 stars in Teaching and Academic Development; and the maximum level of 5 stars in the following criteria: Employability, Online Teaching, Inclusion, and Social Responsibility.
