 •             How can applicants contact the university about their application? 

As per usual with our recruitment teams.
 
•             How is the university handling applicants whose exams have been cancelled? 
Exams have been either rescheduled to a later date or will take place online. Some exams have changed to be home based where applicable; i.e research exams.
 
•             What advice is the university offering to applicants unable to take an English-language test due to centers being closed? 
These can be sent it later, from our general interview we can test the basic English.
 
•             How is the university supporting applicants whose visa applications have been delayed? 
We have set our admissions deadline back by one month (we may extend this even further), this will give time for visa applications. Each case will be looked at individually.
 
•             Is the university still accepting applications? Are there any restrictions being placed on international applicants? 
We are still accepting applications, as stated above, we have extended our admissions deadline back by one month.
 
•             How are applications for university accommodation being handled? 
Our academic year commences from August to October (depending on programme) so far this has not changed.
 
•             Is the university making any changes to entry requirements (i.e. test results, required documents)? 
We are flexible and are aware that documents may be admitted at a later date.

 

Online Application

The first step of our application process is to complete the online application form. We strongly recommend you apply as early as possible, however no later than May 31st if you would like to be guaranteed a spot in our Bachelor of Science programme. You are required to provide us with all necessary documents and successfully complete our application process.

Applications after June 30th  will still be considered, however places will be assigned depending on availability and academic merit.

You will need to upload the following supporting documents:

• Recognised secondary school diploma (Abitur, IB Diploma, High School Diploma, European Baccalaureate, etc.)
• Letter of motivation (optional, maximum 500 words)
• A copy of your passport or ID card
• Other documents if applicable (references/letter of recommendation, extracurricular activities, certificates, awards, etc.)
• Proof of English or German language knowledge (depending on the language of instruction for the concentration you are applying to)*
   

*This does not need to be handed in with the online application. You must however hand it in by July 15th latest.

Assessment Centre

If your application is successful, you will be invited to one of our Assessment Centres. This may be waived if you can provide one of the following test results: SAT, ACT or TestAS (core test and Economics module).

We arrange multiple Assessment Centres each year for your convenience. These take place on our campus and consist of an interview, a knowledge test, an analytical test and a mathematical test. The Assessment Centre is free of charge.

If you are not able to attend an Assessment Centre here in Frankfurt, it may be possible to organise one to take place in your own country. Please select this option when filling out the online application form and we will try our best to make it happen.
