There are a number of great facilities at NPU:
• Research Platform: 20 National Kay Labs and more than 60 joint research platforms
• Floating library: The biggest floating library in Asian which has a collection of 1.6 million volumes. The architecture draws inspiration from the design of a soaring sail
• Accommodation: Chang’an campus’s brand new dormitory was completed in 2019 can accommodate more than 3,000 students
• Canteens: Every campus has 3-4 canteens with a rich variety of food (including Hala food) to meet the needs of students from different regions
• Stadium: NPU has professional training and sport stadiums
NPU also offers a number of services to students which are essential to daily life:

Student life
About seven percent of students are international, with more than 80 nationalities represented on campus.
There are a number of popular extracurricular activities at NPU, including:
•International Student Association (ISA): The ISA team actively carries out various work that contributes to the internationalization of universities in western China. ISA hosts and undertakes all kinds of high level cultural activities, organize events related to student learning and cultural exchanges, and cooperates with other colleges and universities
•Sports games: Each year, NPU sports stadium (which can hold 5000 people) is the prime location for all kinds of events, such as Chinese University Basketball Association (CUBA) and the National Games of China
NPU provides cozy, convenient and safe accommodation to all students. Usually, undergraduate students live on campus, whereas master’s or PhD students are permitted to live off campus. The dormitory at Chang’an campus is brand new and is thought of as the best accommodation out of all the universities in Shaanxi province.
Over 95 percent of NPU graduates find a job within six months of graduation.
There are a number of career services available at NPU, including:
•NPU Career Guidance Center: provide complete information and guidance services for all the graduates
•NPU Entrepreneurial Practice Base: Professional Entrepreneurial training project for university students; start-up platform for university students; benefit policy of angel Investments and capital funds
•Alumni association: NPU alumni association has notable alumni in more than 100 countries. More than 20 alumni association branches overseas.
