Dual degrees in three years: Earn two bachelor's degrees in just three years – one from the IIG and another from the University of Plymouth (UK). This unique opportunity expands your academic horizons and enhances your resume.

Skill development for the modern workplace: The curriculum goes beyond theory, focusing on practical application. You'll hone essential skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and research through interactive group work, presentations, and real-world projects involving international organisations.

Personalised learning environment: Benefit from a close-knit learning community with a student-to-faculty ratio of approximately 3:1. This allows for individualised attention and fosters a supportive learning experience.

Flexible scheduling and start dates: Complete your bachelor's degree in six semesters (three years) with courses offered mornings and afternoons. Courses have September and February start dates to accommodate your academic journey.

All the undergraduate students have an opportunity to graduate with Two degrees simultanuosly:  from IIG (Switzerland) and from the University of Plymouth (UK).

The program is open to students who have successfully completed secondary school education. 

Courses are held mornings and afternoons, over a period of six semesters (3 years). 

Starting dates are: September and February.

The International Institute in Geneva offers a variety of postgraduate qualifications, including master's degrees, an MBA, and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) through the Continuing Education stream. 

Master’s degrees: Key facts

Generally, to apply for a bachelor’s degree at IIG, you’ll need: 

  • Completed application form with a chosen essay topic
  • Certified copies of secondary school diploma and transcripts OR Predicted IB scores/ Latest High School Transcripts
  • English proficiency test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent) (Waived for native speakers and for those who studied in English for 2 years or more)
  • CV/resumé, passport copy,
  • Non-refundable application fee of 150 CHF and a recommendation letter from the professor or college counsellor

English language requirements

Courses are taught in English at IIG.

If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need to demonstrate proficiency through exams such as IELTS or TOEFL or equivalent. An English Proficiency test of your choice between :

IELTS (min. score 6.0), 

TOEFL (min. score 80 internet based; min. score 550 paper-based; min. score 213 computer-based) 

OR Cambridge Advanced Certificate (min. grade C). 

To submit the TOEFL test score to the International Institute in Geneva (IIG), please enter IIG's institutional code number (0130) when you take the test. 

IIG only recognize the tests mentioned above

IIG does not accept Duolingo tests. 

If you don’t pass, you’ll need to complete an English language course in your first year at the IIG to bridge the gap.
